About Us
The Crew Behind the Work
A licensed general contractor built on in-house crews, straight timelines, and jobsites you wouldn’t be embarrassed to walk through.
Our Story
Started By People Who Were Tired of Bad Jobsites
Northbeam Construction started with a simple frustration: too many property owners were stuck choosing between a contractor with a beautiful bid and a contractor who actually told the truth about cost and timeline. Rarely both.
Our founders — a framing carpenter and a project scheduler who met working the same commercial job — set out to build a company where the written estimate matches the final invoice, and the crew that shows up on day one is the crew that hands you the keys on the last.
Today, Northbeam runs in-house carpentry, framing, and finish crews, backed by a short list of trusted trade partners for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Every project — from a single bathroom remodel to a multi-suite commercial build-out — runs through the same estimating, scheduling, and quality-walkthrough process. We’ve kept our growth intentional: we’d rather turn down a project outside our capacity than overbook a crew and let quality slide.

Crew & Safety Culture
A Jobsite You’d Let Your Kids Walk Through
Safety isn’t a poster in the breakroom — it’s a daily habit. Every Northbeam crew starts the day with a short toolbox talk, works in proper PPE, and keeps materials, cords, and debris contained instead of scattered across the site. Clean sites are safer sites, and they’re also faster ones.
Daily Safety Briefings
A short toolbox talk before work starts, every single day, on every jobsite.
Certified PPE On Every Site
Hard hats, eye protection, and proper gear are non-negotiable, no exceptions.
Clean, Contained Jobsites
Daily debris removal and dust containment, especially on occupied properties.
What Drives Us
Our Values
Craftsmanship
We measure twice, cut once, and finish details most crews would skip — because callbacks cost more than doing it right the first time.
Communication
Weekly updates, a real point of contact, and no surprises buried in change orders you find out about later.
Accountability
Licensed, insured, and backed by a written workmanship warranty on everything we finish.
Where We Work
Proudly Serving the Milldale Valley
We take on residential and commercial projects throughout Milldale and the surrounding valley communities, generally within about a 40-mile radius of our shop on Kiln Road. Projects outside that range are considered case by case — ask us.
